Introduction

This is an e-learning resource designed to give medical students an introduction into the usage of ultrasound scanning in medical settings. The resource consists of an introductory section followed by a choice of three specialty areas in which ultrasound scans are utilised to give a more in depth at the areas.

Please note that in this resource the device used to scan patients (pictured below) is referred to as a transducer or probe interchangeably.
