WelcomeWelcome to the Orthopaedic X-Rays for Medical Students Crash Course with a Focus on Fractures prototype. The content has been verified by Orthopaedic Surgeon Professor Duncan Tennent. The course was developed by a final year medical student, Elle Trezise, under supervision of Luke Woodham who is part of the St George's, University of London e-Learning Team. It is important to have a good grasp of skeletal anatomy, anatomical descriptive terms and clinical knowledge of orthopaedic pathologies before completing this course. Check out the teachmeanatomy.info, teachmesurgery.com and zerotofinals.com websites if you need to refresh any of this knowledge. By the end of this course the hope is that you will be:
Body areas we will cover (in order from bottom to top of the body)
Other pathologies and body areas are beyond the scope of this prototype course. Any questions please get in touch with Elle Trezise who designed the course (m1601770@sgul.ac.uk). |
