Hello!

In this interactive session we will cover the basics of ECG teachings. ECGs are essential tools for clinical placements and a vast amount of vital information can be intepreted from them. Below are the learning objectives that are aimed to be taught in this interactive session..

Learning abjectives:

• To describe an ECG and its components; analysing how these components combine and link with the heart to form an ECG tracing.

• Evaluate an ECG tracing in its entirety (to calculate the rate, rhythm and axis deviation of the heart) and its individual components to detect common abnormalities.

• To examine an ECG tracing to identify easily recognisable arrythmia patterns and be able to present these findings in a fluent and consistent manner
